How to connect your Stripe account
A quick 3-minute setup so Costadels can transfer guest payments directly to you.
What is Stripe? Stripe is the payment platform Costadels uses to transfer money from guests to you. You set up a free Stripe Express account — a lightweight account specifically for receiving payouts. It takes about 3 minutes and you only need to do it once.

Enter your email address
Stripe will ask for your email to create or log in to a Stripe Express account. Use the same email address you registered with on Costadels.
Tip: If you already have a Stripe account with that email, you can log in to it. Otherwise Stripe will create a new one.

Verify your phone number
Stripe sends a verification code to your mobile number by SMS. Enter the code to continue.

Personal details
Stripe is legally required to verify your identity before they can pay out money. You will be asked for:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Home address
Note: All information is stored securely by Stripe and is never shared with guests or Costadels. Business details like website and industry are already pre-filled by us — you do not need to enter those.

Add your bank account
Enter the bank account where you want to receive payouts. Stripe supports most Norwegian and European bank accounts. You will need:
- Your IBAN number (found in your online banking app)
Tip: Payments are transferred automatically after each guest checks in. You can change your bank account at any time in your Stripe Express dashboard.

Done — you're connected!
Once you complete the setup, Stripe sends you back to Costadels and your account is automatically connected. You do not need to do anything else.
Guest payments will now be transferred to your bank account automatically after check-in.
